Description

In the Norse mythology the daisy is a symbol of the Germanic spring goddess Ostara. It's white head with the "yellow sun" inside symbolized for the Germans the presence of the sun god Baldures. In full bloom the people living in the misty north saw in the yellow middle of the daisy the eyes of Baldur and with this his presence.
